The Labour Party has called on the Maltese European MPs to keep Malta’s interests at heart and vote in favor of the removal of the reference to Malta from the motion of Citizenship in the European Parliament.

Since the Head of Delegation of the Nationalist Party David Casa said that this is not a crusade against Malta, the PN MEPs should not be reluctant to vote for the removal of the reference country.

The Nationalist Party of Simon Busuttil, through their Nationalist MEP’s still have the chance to repair the damage done to Malta by them.

The Socialists Group and Democrats have put forward amendments to remove Malta’s name from the motion.

With today's vote all Malta will know who voted for Malta or against Malta.
