A rider and a driver were hospitalised shortly after a horse bolted this morning at about 5.30 a.m., in Triq Bella Vista, San Ġwann.

Preliminary investigations found that the rider, an 18-year-old from  San Ġwann, was riding the horse towards Triq Taż-Żwejt from Triq Reġjonali, when it bolted and threw the teenager onto the windscreen of a car being driven by  a 33-year-old woman who also lives in San Ġwann.
