As the consultation process regarding animals in circuses is soon coming to an end. Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights, Roderick Galdes, recently received the proposals moved forward by the Democratic Alternative party regarding this issue .

The Democratic Alternative party spoke on how they were in favour of removing animals from circuses as they believe that they are not kept in decent conditions, saying also that they are against any form of animal cruelty.

Galdes explained on how many people from the public who wrote to him expressed their thoughts regarding this subject where he said that the majority were in favour of removing animals from circuses.

Galdes revealed how in the coming days a white paper is expected to come out regarding this subject where hopefully by the end of this year a law will be passed.
