Four young singers from "La Voix Academy", have been selected to compete in San Remo Junior Festival at the Ariston theatre. They are instructed by Gillian Attard.

Ilenia Camilleri came first place in her section whilst Naomi Cutajar took the jury's special award.

Both the other two young Maltese singers, Clarissa Cauchi and Miriana Conte, gave an impeccable interpretation.

These four singers will come back to Malta this evening at 11.30pm from Italy.

One presumes that this is a Maltese Academy run by Maltese professional voice teachers. Then why "La Voix Academy" and not "L-akkademja Maltija tal-Vuċi" to reflect the true Maltese origin. This only reflects that we suffer of "inferiority complex" which is not the case.
