PL Leader Dr Joseph Muscat was the first of the political leaders to cast his vote on Saturday morning st 9am in Burmarrad. He was accompanied by his wife Michelle.
PL Deputy Leaders Louis Grech and Toni Abela will vote in the next couple of hours.
President George Abela and PM Lawrence Gonzi have also cast their vote in Marsascala.
Voting opened at 7am and closes at 10pm. No one can vote without a voting document.
