
Those wishing to pursue a course in Gozo during academic year 2012-2013 may choose from a selection of over 70 courses being offered by the Wistin Camilleri Gozo Centre for Art and Crafts.
These courses include a variety of traditional crafts and other modern techniques at different levels in different areas such as art, wood and metal works, pottery, glassworks, gold & silver smith, papier maché and design.
Newly introduced courses include those for Blacksmith (using traditional techniques), Calligraphy, Fibre Glass (including replacement of car and motor panels, construction of different boat models from fibre glass), History & Art appreciation (also applicable for History A level), Writing and illustrating children’s books and novels, Metal Pipe Bending & Fitting Techniques (including railings and spiral cases), Stainless Steel Fabrication Skills (interior and exterior home artistic works), Traditional fishing pots and cane works (including basketry), Wood craft – Frames & interior decorations (including clock cases), and Wood veneering.

Applications will be accepted up to the 28th September and applicants will be notified on the 2nd week of October.
