On Saturday the police charged 30 year old Emanuel Cini from Zebbug, Gozo, 25 year old Shaun-Pierre Cassar from Kercem, 22 year old Christian Sultana from Kercem, 22 year old Jason Cassar from Kercem, 21 year old Daniel Agius from Kercem and 19 year old Josmike Sultana and another 17 year old man with causing serious bodily harm to another person in the night between 14 and 15 August in the Aurora Band Club in Rabat, Gozo. They were also charged with injuring slightly four other persons and threatening them and disturbing the public peace.
They pleaded not guilty and were granted bail after they paid a personal guarantee of €2,000 each.
