Celebrate St Mary’s in Gozo avoiding traffic

Maltese Public Transport provider Arriva has announced that it will be operating extra services in Gozo for the comfort of everybody who will be celebrating the feast of St Mary’s in Gozo. Extra Gozitan buses will be operating between Marsalforn and Victoria on the 14th, 15th and 16th of August, thus allowing everybody to enjoy the celebrations to the full, in total safety and comfort, without having to worry about driving and parking.

“Enjoying a long break in Gozo during the feast of St Mary is, one could say, a tradition for us Maltese. One that is also being picked up by tourists, who during the feast week can enjoy the usual charms of Gozo along with the colours and culture of this traditional festa. Arriva’s services in Gozo have revolutionised public transport on our sister island, and we want to continue building on what we have achieved there by offering more options to our patrons,” said a spokesperson for the company.

The extra service from Marsalforn to Victoria (Rabat) in Gozo will run at 2345h and again at 0100h, each day on the 14th, 15th and 16th of August, and can be boarded using the regular day ticket. Moreover, Arriva will also operate additional buses in Malta on the routes to Cirkewwa, offering anybody in Gozo, as well as those going to Gozo on these days, more convenience and an easy stress free way to enjoy this feast.
