The HAMILTON TRAVEL CRUISE EXPEREINCE OPEN WEEKEND was officially inaugurated at the Magazino Hall at the Valletta Waterfront. The Fair is a showcase of opportunities for holiday makers to set sail on one of MSC CRUISES` luxurious cruise liners either directly from Malta or from other European ports during 2012. The Fair was inaugurated by Dr. Mario De Marco, Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism  who spoke about the potential and job opportunities  offered by the Cruiseline industry in Malta . Dr. De Marco applauded HAMILTON TRAVEL`s efforts for their continuous efforts to secure more economic activity in this sector through their partnership with MSC CRUISES to maximise Malta`s strategic location.

Mr. Hamilton said that HAMILTON TRAVEL are proud that they are offering luxurious cruises with competitive prices to the Maltese and Gozitan families. We are once again making it easy for Maltese and Gozitan families to sail around the Mediterranean directly from Malta or fly to European ports and set sail on one of MSC CRUISES`s fantastic cruise liners. The collaboration between us and MSC CRUISES have been a story of success for the Maltese cruise industry during the past ten years. We have already brought 650,000 tourists aboard MSC cruise liners in Malta and we are confident that in the coming months we continue to strengthen this relationship for the benefit of Malta and the cruise line industry. ` Mr. Hamilton said.

MSC CRUISES will send 182,000 passengers aboard their cruise liners to Malta during 2012. MSC SPLENDIDA will bring 146,300 tourists between January and November of next year.
