The HAMILTON TRAVEL CRUISE EXPEREINCE OPEN WEEKEND was officially inaugurated at the Magazino Hall at the Valletta Waterfront. The Fair is a showcase of opportunities for holiday makers to set sail on one of MSC CRUISES` luxurious cruise liners either directly from Malta or from other European ports during 2012. The Fair was inaugurated by Dr. Mario De Marco, Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism who spoke about the potential and job opportunities offered by the Cruiseline industry in Malta . Dr. De Marco applauded HAMILTON TRAVEL`s efforts for their continuous efforts to secure more economic activity in this sector through their partnership with MSC CRUISES to maximise Malta`s strategic location.

MSC CRUISES will send 182,000 passengers aboard their cruise liners to Malta during 2012. MSC SPLENDIDA will bring 146,300 tourists between January and November of next year. This luxury cruise liner will make 32 consecutive calls at the Grand Harbour between 4 April and 21 November. MSC SPLENDIDA will be visiting Messina, Rome, Genoa, Barcelona and Tunisia. MSC CRUISES will send other cruise liners to Malta during 2012 including MSC ARMONIA, MSC ORCHESTRA, MSC MUSICA, MSC OPERA and MSC DIVINA.
HAMILTON TRAVEL is also offering Fly & Cruise opportunities to those interested in sailing from a European port. Maltese travellers have the unique opportunity to cruise on MSC DIVINA`s maiden voyage from Marseilles to Malta between May 27 and 30, visiting Rome and Messina on the way. MSC DIVINA will be christened in Marseilles by Sophia Loren. Maltese passengers can then cruise aboard MSC DIVINA from Malta to Dubrovnik and Venice returning to Malta from Milan with AIRMALTA.
