Internet made simple - Netbooks
18 June 2009 08:29
Laptops and mobile phones have gone into a bit of a grey area, in which we’ve seen laptops miniaturised and mobile phones expanded with laptop-like features.

The constant need of having an internet connection everywhere, and the fact that laptops are seen as bulky nowadays, have opened up a new market for what are called as netbooks.

Netbooks defer from notebooks or laptops in the fact that they are not ideal for thorough needs such as gaming, high resolution photography or anything that might need strong hardware potential.

Netbooks are simply there to offer a basic alternative to the laptop when using the internet. The hardware capabilities are, due to its sheer size, limited when compared to standard laptops or computers.

However the ability to have an 8-inch netbook which can easily fit into one’s portfolio or file, as well as its long battery endurance due to low consumption, is making netbooks a very viable solution for students and business people alike in order to keep connected to the web.
