Juventus cruised into the last 8 of the Champions League with a 2-0 win against Celtic to cap off a 5-0 aggregate win over the two legs. A 1-1 draw at home to Valencia was enough to send Paris St Germain into the quarter finals for the first time in 18 years.

Tonight 16 clubs are aiming to reach the last 8 of the Europa League. Tottenham Hotspur take on Inter at White Hart Lane with boss Andre Villa-Boas saying it should be an emotional game for him as he is former Inter man having worked under Jose Mourihno.

Chelsea travel to Bucharest to take on Steau with under fire boss Rafael Benitez saying he is determined to win. It does not get any easier for him with a league game against Manchester United on Sunday.

Newcastle bid to reach the last 8 but have a tricky first leg away to Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala. Lazio travel to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to take on Stuttgart with both sides coming off domestic defeats.

The United States Women opened their Algarve Cup campaign with a 3-0 victory over Iceland to top their group. There was a surprise 2-0 defeat for Japan. Hosts Portugal beat Wales 2-0, Mexico had a 1-0 win against Hungary and Sweden and China tied 1-1.
