Newcastle’s chances of reaching the next stage look brighter after a comfortable 1-0 victory against Bruge put the Magpies three points clear at the top of Group D. After their Champions League defeat to Ajax, Manchester City have to pick themselves up for tomorrows premier game against Swansea. Arsenal who lost to Schalke are at home for the visit of queens Park Rangers.
