As part of the Single Market Fair being organised by the European Commission Representation in Malta, the European Union Programmes Agency shall be delivering an information session entitled “An Introduction to EU-Funding for Education and Training: Youth in Action, Comenius, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci and Grundtvig funds”. The aim of this meeting will be to provide information on the various funding options available related to formal, informal and non-formal education. This shall be held on Friday 19 October 2012 at 10.30am in Valletta at Republic Street in front of the Law Courts.

Furthermore, the EUPA shall be participating for the whole duration of the fair. Taking place on Friday 19 October between 9.30 and 18.30 and on Saturday 20 October between 9.30 and 12.30, the Single Market Fair will bring together under a covered marquee the local EU information providers and contact points. Various activities, ranging from public debates, talks, games and quizzes, will also be organised to promote awareness and inform the public about the achievements of the Single Market and what these actually mean in the everyday life of EU citizens.

Persons interested in learning more are invited to register for this information meeting by sending an email to eupa@gov.mt and include their name, surname, designation and organisation.

This initiative is funded with the support of the European Commission (Directorate General Education and Culture). Information on the European Union Programmes Agency can be found at the agency website www.eupa.org.mt or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/EUPAMALTA.
