Chalmers and Depasquale back at BOV

It is reported that previous  Bank of Valletta (BOV) Chairman Roderick Chalmers – in full suit and armour – visits the BOV Chairman’s Office in Zachary Street, Valletta very frequently. 

It is not known whether these morning visits are meant to visit his former colleagues and secretaries or to galvanise the new Chairman into retaining the Bank’s stand against any sort of reasonable stance with the aggrieved investors in the La Valette Multi Manager Property Fund.

Likewise, former CEO Tonio Depasquale –who upon retirement officially became a director on the Nazzareno Vassallo’s companies – visits his “office” in Cannon Road Santa Venera on a regular basis, parking his car in the staff parking section and having his car hand-washed and valeted whilst he attends to his unofficial bank duties upstairs.
