PN MP Franco Debono has once again warned Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi that he has no majority in Parliament and that unlike former MLP Leader Dr Alfred Sant, who did “the right thing”, Lawrence Gonzi is a “dictator”.
In his latest blog entry on Tuesday morning, entitled “Bl-Imgħarfa” (Spoon-fed), Franco Debono says “Since the Prime Minister is clinging to power to such an extent that he has become politically dumb and he does not want to see and listen, I will spoon-feed him: Stop wasting this country’s time and the Maltese people’s time. You have degenerated into a coalition government. You don’t have a majority in Parliament. I am telling you in the clearest of ways.”
The Nationalist backbencher reminded that he had already warned he won’t support PM Gonzi with Minister Austin Gatt in the Cabinet and told PM Gonzi to ask Manwel Delia and Lou Bondi to support him instead in Parliament.
“If this support is not forthcoming, remember that Christmas is approaching and thus take your decisions now. Stop procrastinating,” he told the Prime Minister. Franco Debono said Alfred Sant “did the right thing” and accused PM Gonzi he “doesn’t have the faintest idea of how to be a gentleman, and is behaving like small boy using the people as toys. Only dictators do so. Who does he think he is?” concludes the PN MP.
