A lotto booth in Misraħ Dorell, Santa Luċija, was held up sometime before 1850 hrs Wednesday, the police said.
Two hooded men, one of them armed with a gun, took some money from the booth which was manned by a single person. The two robbers escaped. The condition of the booth attendant and the amount of money stolen were not revealed.
The duty magistrate ordered an inquiry.
The police are investigating.
