I happen to know ambassador Chris Stevens. He arrived in Benghazi on Monday 10/09 from Tripoli as the US mission was supposed to open a Cultural Center in Benghazi to be inaugurated tomorrow Thursday 13/09. Today Mr. Stevens was scheduled to meet high official of Arabian Gulf Oil Company. I can confirm that many Libyans are very angry and upset by what has happened.
