A 75-year-old woman is being treated for injuries at Mater Dei Hospital after the lift she was using fell down two floors with her in Skal Street, Marsascala at 11.00am on Sunday.
She has been certified as suffering from serious injuries but is not in a critical condition.
The police are investigating.
