BBC One Breakfast spoke on Monday morning to the Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja about his forthcoming appearance at the Last Night of the Proms and his album of covers of songs made famous by his hero Mario Lanza.
Joseph sang the title track of the album 'Be My Love' live in the studio.
The album 'Be My Love - A Tribute to Mario Lanza' was launched yesterday in the UK and is available.
Joseph’s performance at the world-famous Last Night of the Proms will be broadcast live in 3D for the first time in Odeon cinemas across the UK on September 8.
