The price of a litre of unleaded petrol has shot up by by 41% from €1.09 in April 2008 to €1.54 as from the beginning of September this year. A litre of diesel has also become more expensive, from €1.09 in April 2008 to €1.36 this month, an increase of 25%.

This means that the same amount of money today will buy considerably less fuel to Maltese motorists compared to the last general election.

Watch this ONE video for a full analysis of the prices of fuel.
