The extensive network of customer care services set up a few weeks ago across the public sector is now working in full swing in co-ordination with the PN electoral machine to try and garner as many votes as possible at the coming election.
Promotions in the public sector, allocations of social housing, MEPA permits and operations at Mater Dei Hospital … are all being used as part of the PN’s electoral campaign to win back every pocket, however small, of disgruntled voters.
The PN is approaching people who have some sort of pending issue to try and accommodate their respective requests. Since at least April a number of persons with MEPA problems have been asked to attend meetings at the PN headquarters, on a daily basis and with high ranking officials.
Government employees who have been requesting a transfer or who have been waiting for some sort of promotion have also been seen at the PN Headquarters for meetings with senior Government officials. Appointments to talk to the ‘right person’ have been given to several employees from companies in which the Government has an influential interest.
PN is using its party network, government ministries, and departments, authorities to get in touch with as many people as possible and see what they need in exchange for their vote at the coming election.

- Mon 20-Aug-2012, 15:12In 1987 Eddy F Adami had told the people do not refuse what the labour government gives you in return for your vote. A nationalist government would not ask you to return it but go to the polls and vote PN. Same can be said today all those who are getting favours especially those who deserve them after years of being denied them but you still can change the present corruption with your vote. You can always vote PL.

- Mon 20-Aug-2012, 12:11GonziPN can only give me a fraction of what was due to me during the last 12 years. I'll take what they might give me but they will never get my vote after all these pains. It is useless to present new projects and "jaqtghu z-zigarelli" since they had ample time to do so in the past 25 years. GonziPN = murder!

BETTER FUTURE
- Mon 20-Aug-2012, 10:12I agree completely with Daylight Robberies, to the extent that if permits would have been acted upon, buildings would actually be demolished and not eventually sanctioned to legalise them! Nor do I agree with the position that whoever got sidestepped in the public sector, would be promoted and the previously blue-eyed incumbent left to enjoy his spoils! Double murder for the Maltese coffers would ensue, not to mention Labour's increasing exponentially the economic mess they would have inherited! This would only mean you scratch my back and later on I will scratch yours, culminating in the complete absense of honest politics in Malta. So much for joining the bloody EU!

- Mon 20-Aug-2012, 08:02If the PL knows about what
is going on then when they are
in Government decisions and
promotions made and given
very near the elections should
be investigated and annulled.
That is what I call serious
business.
