Gzira garden vandalised

Once again for the upteenth time in the past months, the Council of Europe Garden in Gzira has been vandalised.

Apparently the ''cowardly, abusive and illegal' vandal acts were carried out in the night between Friday and Saturday, the Gzira local council said in a statement.

Benches were detached, lamps were broken and children's playground equipment was destroyed.

The Gzira Local Council appealed to the public to pass any information to the authorities.

The council promised to increase surveillance in the area adding that it was committed to continue to work to improve recreational facilities for families.

To those that by making such things, think that their lives will be better. No you are wrong. If you want to say something , go face to face to the person and say what you have to say, if you got the guts, or go to court. It is our tax money that you are spending and you're not getting any thing in return by doing this.
