A few days ago I arrived late at home, I couldn't help but notice that there was a power cut in my area. It was about midnight. I couldn't see a thing last night, not even walking on the road outside. Fortunately I had some battery charge left so I could switch on my mobile flash light.
I also noticed people smoking on the rooftops, and even asleep in their cars so they can at least turn on the car fan. I was utterly desperate to take a shower before I go to bed, but obviously I couldn't as I would risk tripping on something in the dark. I found my parents sleeping in the balcony. We had no alarm clock whatsoever, as by the time I entered my phone was dead and I couldn't charge it. I was sure I wasn't going to sleep, as it was too hot, knowing that I cannot even use a fan for the night.
Fortunately I had a lamp. It was my grandfather's back 30 years ago, in the 1980s or so.
We're in 2012. We're still getting power cuts. Who's moving us back 30 years ago?
Please, where's your schedule? At least 30 years ago, when Labour was in government, we were prepared for it. Are you still blaming Labour now back in the 1980s?
