UHM: Ministry to blame for no Sunday dentistry service

Friday, 10 Aug 2012, 18:56

Union Haddiema Maghqudin (UHM) said that the decision by the Health Ministry to reduce the take home pay of dentists has led the union to order dentists to stop the service they used to give voluntarily at Mater Dei Hospital on Sundays.

UHM said the attitude of the Health Ministry is repugnant and it first imposed its decision and then expected the union to accept it meekly.

UHM said that the Health Ministry is to blame for what has happened. UHM said it would still allow dentists to deliver the emergency service.
