Scholarship offered following efforts by the Embassy of Malta in Lisbon

The Catholic University of Portugal in Lisbon in agreement with the Embassy of Malta in Lisbon is offering a grant for a Maltese scholar to follow an English MA in Governance, Leadership and Democracy Studies for the 2012\2013 academic year.

The course is being offered by the Institute of Political Studies at this University in Lisbon. This new Master`s Degree, taught entirely in English, is designed to become a permanent forum for discussing democracy and empowering its students through endowing them with the tools of political analysis that best highlight and leverage the resources that liberal democracies make available to societies taking this path to development. The Institute draws upon an International Advisory Board made up of academics and other figurers renowned for their defence of democracy.

The duration of the course is 13 months, with a winter and summer semester.
