Heavy black smoke at Delimara once again

Heavy black smoke as seen from Marsascala on Monday morning as the Delimara power station extension installed by BWSC and working on heavy fuel oil is beign tested.

This is a repeat of what had happened on the 14th June earlier this year.

So far, Enemalta have neither issued an apology, nor an explanation.

I have yesterday read on Malta Today that EU has extended the date from 2016 to 2012 for the new power station to be changed form running on heavy fuel oil to a better fuel. Thsi will cost 200 Million I am very surprised that I have not seen this news on neither Malta star nor One news. In my opinion this expense alone shows what a government we have and this alone should win Labout the next election
