Keep shopping, everything is fine! ‏

Do you think you are free? Do you think that the strongest system in today's world is democracy? Well, think again. The strongest system nowadays is called consumerism.

From the moment we are born, we are bombarded by messages that make us consume. Everything around us revolves around this 'system'. Religion, TV, books, newspapers, billboards, adverts... You might think that they are selling you different products, different brands, different lifestyles... But at the same time they are selling one BIG idea that the more we consume the better our lives will be. We are buying things we don't need with money that we don't have to impress people we don't like! 

Have you ever felt so looking forward to buy something? You worked and saved money for a long time. You finally bought the product and were happy for a few hours and then you realize that you actually didn't need it! But you keep doing the same mistake again and again with different products! That is brainwashing!! 

Before the industrial revolution only the rich were consumers but than the businessmen argued that if all the population started to consume they will make more money. This led to the industrial revolution, to mass production. It gave people the illusion that they are now better off. That they are now free! Are you really free? 

Religion and the media brainwash us to obey, to buy, to not question authority, to conform, to watch more TV, to believe that money is our god, to submit!!

You are living in a matrix. The matrix is everywhere. You can see it when you look out of your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been put over your eyes to blind you from the truth. What truth??  That you are a slave! Like everyone else you were born to a prison that you can't smell, taste or touch. A prison for your mind! 

Since birth you were told to study hard so one day you will get a good job with a very good salary. You are alive to make money. Then when you make money you are forced to buy things that make you to work more for more money. Then you are forced to buy again... and the cycle continues. Every product on the market is designed to make you consume more. When you buy a new gadget keep in mind that you are not really buying the latest technology. The manufactures are already producing another gadget that will make yours old. Everything is designed to go to the dump after a few weeks. Everything is designed to make us buy and consume more! 

How are we going to change this? Do you need to have all the latest gadgets (that will be outdated in a few weeks) Do you need to buy clothes whenever there is a sale (that is there to make you feel you need to buy more) Do we need a car (or more) for every person? How many mobile phones do you own 4, 5? 

Do not remain a slave!

Don't let anyone or anything play with your life and with your brain. You are not somebody's source of income! You are not living for money! There is more to life than what we've been told. Your life has a greater purpose! It's time to wake up!
