A bad traffic accident occurred in Hal Far, limits of B'Bugia at about 16.00h.
A vehicle and a motorcycle collided head on when driving in the opposite directions.
The 23-year-old man motorcycle driver is a resident of Mosta, while the vehicle driver is a 53-year-old man from Zejtun.
The motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei hospital. He was grieviously injured.
The road had to be closed to traffic for some time.
