Diane Borg, an IT Specialist working at the University of Malta IT Services, will be representing Malta in the upcoming London Olympic Games.

Participating in these prestigious games will be yet another achievement in Diane’s successful athletics career. During this fruitful year, Diane  was honoured as l-iSportiva tas-Sena 2011 and later on established a new  200m national record, a record she already owned along with those of  the 100m and 4x100m (Relay). Recently, she also represented Malta in the Helsinki European Championships (2012).

Diane was a Gold medalist in the Small Nations' Games 2011, winning the 200m and 4x100m Relay Team Gold medals. She also won the 100m Silver medal in the same games.

Colleagues at the University will all be cheering on Diane Borg when the leading Maltese sprinter runs on Friday 3 August 2012.
