Banif Bank has collaborated with the PAVI Shopping Complex  in order to come up with an exclusive co-branded card, which is the first card product of its kind to be launched in Malta. The PAVI Credit Card has been specifically designed to offer a different shopping experience, giving clients extra financial flexibility and exclusive benefits that will enable them to save on their shopping at PAVI Supermarket and other outlets within the Complex.

During his address to the media at the press launch organised at La Vigna Wine Cellars at PAVI Shopping Complex, Banif Bank CEO, Mr Joaquim F. Silva Pinto said, “In line with our values, this product mirrors our ability to anticipate the needs and desires of our customers and the society in which we operate and provide them with innovative solutions to meet their requirements.”

“The bank keeps working very hard to identify the new market opportunities and provide alternative financial solutions in response to the needs of the Maltese community. This has been the key element which allowed this Maltese bank to achieve so much success at such an early stage,” added Mr Silva Pinto.
Mr. Alfred Lupi, Chairman of the PAVI Group, said that this was yet another innovative way in which PAVI wants to add value to the shoppers’ experience.  In under 6 years of operations the PAVI Shopping Complex has increased in popularity each year.  Now PAVI customers can benefit from added convenience and further cost savings when shopping at PAVI.

The PAVI Credit Card is available from any Banif Bank branch free of charge. As a one-time subscription offer, card holders will receive a number of discount vouchers amounting to €50 redeemable at the outlets within PAVI Shopping Complex, together with 500 PAVI Bonus Points. PAVI Credit Card holders will also earn double PAVI Bonus Points on purchases paid with their card during the first 12 months from the date of first issue.

The press conference was also addressed by the Hon Minister Jason Azzopardi, Minister for Fair Competition and Consumers.  The Hon Minister congratulated the management at PAVI and Banif for their initiative which can be of benefit to the Maltese consumer.  The Minister also commended the PAVI Shopping Complex for subscribing to the TRUST – YOU Scheme which shows their commitment to safeguard the interests of the consumer.

More details about the PAVI Credit Card are available on the Banif website www.banif.com.mt or by calling on 2260 1000. Alternatively those interested can call PAVI Supermarket on 2270 0000.
