Champions League
Valletta have an almost impossible task ahead of them as they take on Partizan Belgrade in the second leg of their Champions League qualifier.

Trailing 4-1 from the first leg, coach Mark Miller is looking for a better performance from his players as he admitted that sloppy defending cost them dearly in the first leg.

Olympics
With just three days to the opening ceremony of the London Olympics, the Olympic torch is taking a trip on the London Underground today. It has already been on the London Eye.

Meanwhile Malta’s Olympic squad is in the English capital with all the hard work and preparations behind them.
Now it is a case of waiting for the games to begin but they are all looking forward to Friday’s opening ceremony where William Chetcuti will carry the flag for Malta.
