EU Health Commissioner John Dalli told the PN Executive Committee yesterday on 11 July 2012 Richard Cachia Caruana asked him to issue a statement in his favour but he declined to do so. He said the following day his email domain had been hacked by a group that regularly organizes media campaigns against him.
Dalli said that the party has been destroyed and even loyal supporters were finding it difficult to feel at home inside it. Addressing it from Brussels in a teleconference Dalli said that he will be informing the Prime Minister and the top party officials of who from the PN was behind the organized media attacks against him.
Dalli told the Executive Committee that persons inside the PN had written blogs and sent emails against him when last February the issue was raised in the media whether he would be on the PN ticket as a candidate for the coming election. He said these blogs and emails were the work of a group working under instructions.

He said he and his family were vilified over false accusations made against him. He forgets the false accusations he made against me. My family and I were vilified by his false and malicious accusations.
What goes round comes round, Mr Dalli. As for accusing the PN executive of “destroying the party”, he has tried to do the same for many years by spending the best part of his time behaving in the same manner.
