33 year old Maria Elena Bonnici from Birkirkara who works as a ‘chambermaid’ in the Bugibba Hotel has been put on probation for three years after she admitted to stealing between €23 and €2,329 from this hotel three days ago.
She stole the money from nine tourists staying at the hotel as she had access to their rooms while cleaning the rooms.
