The Broadcasting Authority will be conducting maintenance work on the Għargħur transmitting tower. Given the nature of the work to be undertaken, this assignment will be conducted during the night and necessitates a switch-off of analogue radio stations.

We will strive to limit switch-off to the shortest time possible. The work is scheduled for next Friday/Saturday 20/21st July 2012 and switch-off will be necessary between 2345 on the 20th and around 1500 on the 21st July. Switch-on can take place earlier should the contractor conclude the work.

Should unfavorable weather deter the works on the planned day, the assignment will be postponed and a further notification will be issued.

Whilst apologizing for any inconvenience caused, the Authority through its contractor, will strive to reduce as much as possible this switch-off of analogue radio stations.
