Labour MPs Joe Mizzi and Karmenu Vella will not attend PN's executive meeting

The Labour Party is publishing two letters by MPs Joe Mizzi and Karmenu Vella in response to the PN's Executive call to attend to testify in the case of dismissal of Richard Cachia Caruana.

The Labour MPs Joe Mizzi and Karmenu Vella will not be attending the meeting of the Nationalist Party Executive that will take place this evening. This letters were sent to the Chairperson of the Executive of the Nationalist Party, Marthese Portelli.

The Labout MPs argued that since the PN Executive is not a judicial body do not consider it appropriate to be present to testify in front of it. Both MPs said they have already made public announcements on the issue and they don't have anything new to add.

Furthermore they don't want to be drawn in the PN's internal squabbles.

Jekk imorru imbaghad jghidu li qed jipprovokaw. Diga kien hemm ghorief li fuq il-gazzetti qalu li ma kellhomx jindahlu bhalli kieku jghamlu stqarrija u affidavit kienu qed jindahlu. Cert li l-istess ghorief kienu jghidu li l-PL qed jipprovoka biex jinqaghala l-inkwiet.
