Although he is trying hard to appear in control of the situation, Richard Cachia Caruana is very anxious to know what evidence MP Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando will present to the PN’s Executive Committee to show that RCC tried to ingratiate himself with Labour Ministers and officials between 1996 and 1998 and also tried to undermine several PN politicians. Cachia Caruana has denied Pullicino Orlando’s claims while the MP has stood his ground saying that he is not bluffing.
The PN leadership is hoping that Pullicino Orlando will not be in a position to substantiate his allegations but various names of former Labour Ministers and officials have been mentioned as likely to have been contacted by Cachia Caruana between 1996 and 1998.
On Sunday night interviewed on ‘Dissett’ Labour leader Joseph Muscat said that he is informed that Cachia Caruana tried to ingratiate himself with people in the Labour government between 1996 and 1998 but he did not necessarily succeed. Cachia Caruana denied that he tried to do so.

I hope that the former Labour Ministers and officials who have been mentioned as likely to have been contacted by Cachia Caruana between 1996 and 1998 will be ready to present their deposition and knock the crown off RCC more than it has already been knocked off.
