[WATCH]: Maltese Special Olympics' athletes win gold

Maltese athletes participating in the Special Olympics won the gold medal in the European Football Tournament held in Copenhagen .

This is third time that the Maltese athletes participated in the Special Olympics, however it is  the first time that athletes won the gold medal.

The Maltese team was composed of 200 athletes. Amongst the countries that took part were Monaco, Russia, Poland and Iceland.

Malta played against England and Belgium and scored a total of 21 goals.
