New Spurs boss?

Will Tottenham Hotspurs have a new manager this week?

Andre Villa-Boas has been touted to take over at White Hart Lane and talks have taken place.  It is reported that he turned down a 16million pound compensation from Chelsea, his former club, so that he could return to the Premier league with Spurs.

At FC Porto he won four titles in one season, at Chelsea he lasted only eight months.
Can he do better at Spurs, if he does become their new manager?

Tennis
There was a major upset at Wimbledon as the world number 1 Maria Sharapova was knocked out of the forth round by Sabine Lisicki of Germany.

Kim Clisters was another big name to fall, losing in straight sets to Angelique Kerber, also from Germany.
Britain’s Andy Murray will continue his forth round match against Marin Cilic of Croatia today after rain stopped play last night with Murray a set up and leading 3-1 in the second.

Tour de France
Team Sky’s Mark Cavendish won a sprint finish to claim the second stage of the Tour de France.
Today the riders have a 197km stage for Orchies to Boulogne Sur Mer with a series of testing climbs just before the finish.
