Malta-based 2X Software has been awarded the highly prestigious Cloud Computing Excellence Award for its ‘2X Application Server XG’ in the United States. The Award was given by Cloud Computing Magazine, the authoritative source of news and articles for the global technology industry, which is published by TMC.

It is the first time that such an award, which gives recognition to companies that have most effectively leveraged cloud computing to bring new differentiated offerings to market, has been made. 2X Software in particular was identified as having demonstrated innovation, as well as the ability to improve the security of cloud environments, by the Award organisers.
