At 6.30am on Thursday morning there was a collision between a motorcyle and a car in Triq il-Qasab, Birkirkara, and the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
The car, a Mercedez Benz, was driven by a 42 year old man from Rabat , Gozo while the KTM motorcycle was driven by a 39 year old man from Birkirkara.
