Citta Pinto is the third largest city in Malta.

Muscat said that Labour-led local councils will work to strengthen the customer care system aiming to serve better local citizens.

He added that a response following a complaint has to be given within five days.

One of the project that the council intends to do in the next legislature is the heritage trail and the picnic sites in Tal-Blat.

Qormi council has succeeded in receiving 300,000 euro in  EU funds for this project, said Qormi Major Jesmond Aquilina. He spoke about the need of a child care centre and a centre for senior people in the locality.

He stressed that the council's priority is to continue the work on the roads as the remaining 10% need to given tarmac.

Aquilina said that several projects were accomplished during this legislature, including the embellishment of public gardens, the installation of photovoltaic panels on the local council's roof and educational courses for residents.
