The Electoral Commission notifies those persons who intend to contest the elections for the Local Councils of Il-Birgu, L-Isla, Ħal Qormi, ĦaŜ-śebbuā, Is-Siāāiewi, Ħ’Attard, Ħal Balzan, BirŜebbuāa, Ħad-Dingli, Floriana, Il-Āzira, Għajnsielem, Ħal Għargħur, Il-Ħamrun, L-Iklin, Ta’ Kerëem, Ħal Kirkop, Ħal Luqa, Il-Marsa, Marsaxlokk, Il-Mosta, Il-Munxar, In-Nadur, Paola, IlQala, Ħal Safi, San Āiljan, San Lawrenz, San Pawl il-Baħar, Santa Luëija, Is-Swieqi, Ix-Xagħra, IŜ-śebbuā and IŜ-śurrieq, that if they would like to obtain information regarding the procedures that they are to follow in respect of these elections, they should contact the Electoral Office, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta, or the ID Cards office at 28A, St. Francis Square, Victoria, Gozo.
As these procedures have various deadlines, it would be in the interest of prospective candidates to obtain information as soon as possible before the first day for the receipt of nominations, namely Wednesday 8th
February, 2012.
